Battles Falls

Battles Falls, a set of rapids on Cape Fear River, is a short distance downstream from Braziers Falls, between Buckhorn Dam and Raven Rock State Park. Overlooking the falls on the river-left side of the river is Ore Hill, where Buckhorn Iron Mine operated in the latter half of the 1800s. Another name was Fish Trap Falls.203
I haven’t seen the falls. I don’t think it’s publicly accessible over land.
