Fox Island is a rapid on Cape Fear River, about 2 miles downstream from the US 401/421 bridge in Lillington. The only public access is by water. I haven’t seen it.
John Hairr says that Atkins Falls, about a half mile upstream, is sometimes considered part of Fox Island Falls.207
