Shaws Great Falls is a long series rapids on Cape Fear River, upstream from Smileys Falls, between Lillington and Erwin. As far as I know, the only public access is by water. I haven’t seen it.

I have one reference for a Shaws Falls on Cape Fear River. I assume it refers to Shaws Great Falls.
