Sliding Rock Falls
!
Visit Sliding Rock Falls to have FUN! Don’t come for photos or to enjoy a quiet moment while viewing a waterfall. You’ll be sorely disappointed if you do. But come to unleash your inner kid and you’ll have the time of your life, albeit a frigid one.
In the summer season, a small fee lets you slide down the falls as many times as you like. A bathhouse gives you a place to change clothes and a lifeguard watches out for you. The observation deck at the base washed away during Tropical Storm Fred in 2021, but there is plenty of room at the base for viewing and making photos.
The upper viewing deck is accessible in a wheelchair. Steps lead to the base.
