Smalls Falls is a rapid on Cape Fear River, the first named falls downstream from McAllisters Falls, and upstream from Watsons Field Falls, between Lillington and Erwin. There are several rapids along this section and I’m not sure which one is Smalls. As far as I know, the only public access is by water. I haven’t seen it.

Another early name for Smalls Falls is Masseys Fish Traps.
