Waterfall on Cooper Creek
!
If you’re visiting Waterfall on tributary of Cooper Creek, you can continue 0.1 miles along the gravel road to glimpse a cascading waterfall on Cooper Creek. It’s a nice cascade, but the view from the road is poor and this is private property so you can’t leave the road right-of-way. Sadly, the area has been used as a trash dump, with some of the garbage going directly into the falls.
Driving Directions
From US 19, roughly halfway between Bryson City and Cherokee, turn north onto Cooper Creek Road (SR 1355). Drive 2.0 miles (road changes to gravel on the way) to the waterfall on the right side of the road. (At 1.9 miles you pass Waterfall on tributary of Cooper Creek.)
Hiking Directions
There is a poor view from road.
