Rain Forest Falls

Waterfallson this site and counting

!

Rain Forest Falls is the quintessential Appalachian waterfall, cascading over lots of little ledges of mossy rock. The only negative is that there is a lot of downfall at the base and a large log lying over it. It’s still beautiful, though.

This is the uppermost of three scenic waterfalls on Bald Springs Branch. Bald Springs Falls is a short distance downstream and Lower Bald Springs Falls is a little farther down from it.
